sketch play host to another incredible seasonal exhibition, transforming their venue into a Wintery wonderland, complete with snowy trees and pixies in jars.

sketch is never on to shy away from striking and immersive design. In an earlier post "sketch London: The Design Icon" we see the multiple worlds and designed spaces that guests can be transported to whilst visiting. Whilst each one of these spaces looks entirely different, they all share the passion and love for art, style and design. As we move into the Winter season, sketch showcases the very best from its art programme, inviting talented designers to create a series of installations on display throughout the venue to add a touch of Christmas magic.

Titled 'The Night Before Christmas' sketch has created an enchanting journey for guests, experiencing different stories and chapters to its fairytale through the individual installations set out in each space. Upon entering 9 Conduit Street, visitors are greeted with a striking Wintery forestscape, tall trees covered in snow with a small pathway directing guests into the heart of the building.

Featured in the video and images of this post are the magical designs of JamJar's fairy-tale creation 'The Faraway Tree'. Surrounded by the elegant and welcoming woodland setting of the Glade bar, Guests can enjoy a cocktail or afternoon tea whilst feeling relaxed and at ease within this enchanting space. As you adapt to the surroundings, mystical creatures can be seen nestled away from within the foliage, each adding charm and character to the unfolding story.

Carly Rogers has also left a seasonal mark on the East Bar and infamous egg toilets, continuing the theme on from the entrance, adding snowy trees and shrubs in a gorgeous display that be seen on approach to the bar and the stairs to the toilets.

The whole experience is incredibly exciting and with the mad rush of Christmas shoppers starting to descend on the capital, this is the perfect hideaway for a moment of calm and an injection of Christmas spirit before heading back out into the excitable chaos of the surrounding streets once again.

The installations will be on display from 13th November 2016 to 6th January 2017 for which I strongly recommend a visit to discover the magic for yourselves. The Lecture room and Library will also be featuring festive alternatives to the traditional menus with live choirs and carolers performing every afternoon during the exhibition period.
